Session 2: Elemental Assistance
Leaving the darkened sky and scavenging silt runners behind, the party was drawn toward a small valley, where a creature made of living flame appeared and communicated by melting its words into the sand. The “Spirit of the Flame” explained how it came to be and that it was waiting for the coming of the next Green Age—an occurrence that will only come about through the collective effort of all Athasians. The interaction with the elemental creature was cut short when the party was surrounded and attacked by a small colony of large insects, known as Kanks.
Session 1: Escape the Storm
While traveling across the Tablelands from Altaruk toward the city-state of Tyr, a merchant caravan was caught up in a deadly obsidian shard storm. Emerging from the wreckage as the only survivors, a party of adventurers was then beset by a reptilian horde of silt runners. In order to survive the ambush (and ongoing storm), the heroes salvaged as many supplies as they could and fought their way out of immediate danger, fleeing into the Wastes.
